Hot Tub Water Care Basics

Hot tub water care is different from pool water care because hot water changes how chemicals behave. At higher temperatures, chlorine dissipates faster, pH rises more quickly, and bacteria can grow faster. That is why it is important to test your hot tub water 2 to 3 times per week and adjust chemicals as needed.
