Deep Ends

Radiant Semi inground pools can have deep ends as deep as Six feet. Most of the Radiant pools we install are just 52 inches deep.

Coping

There are different coping options incase your planning on pouring a concrete pad or building a wooden or composite deck. Coping is what goes around the top of the swimming pool.

Pool Bottoms

The bottoms of the pool are troweled sand but if your interested in a hard bottom you can always go with a vermic bottom. Vermic is a concrete and styrofoam mixture.

Pools That Require Concrete

Radiant pools that are oval, rectangle or freeform require concrete footings. So having access for the concrete truck is important. There are other ways to get the concrete in the backyard. We could shuttle it with the bobcat if your yard is too tight. Any Radiant pool buried more then two feet requires a concrete collar to be poured around the pool wall. This is to ensure the pool never sinks from ground saturation.

Filling The Swimming Pool

We always recommend leaving about a foot of water in the pool overnight to ensure that the liner seams are holding like they should. This way you don’t lose out on water you had trucked in or water from your hose. Both can be costly. It is rare that a pool liner has a bad seem but we see it at least a few times a year.
